'Grown up' in the Bible

But the wheat and the rye were not smitten; for they were not grown up.

But he forsook the counsel of the old men, which they had given him, and consulted with the young men that had grown up with him, and who stood before him:

And the young men that had grown up with him spoke to him, saying, Thus shalt thou speak to this people who spoke to thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou it lighter to us; thus shalt thou say to them, My little finger shall be thicker than my father's loins.

Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded; they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the house-tops, and as corn blasted before it is grown up.

And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up to the heavens.

That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:
